Stepping into tech: why I invested in Xvariate

I am an entrepreneur and a board member at Xvariate. I also sponsor the work. I have followed tech for years even though I have not founded or invested in a tech startup before now. This investment is my first real step into the space.

I want to be part of what comes next. I plan to keep investing in tech and I may start my own company when the timing and idea are right.

Why tech now

AI and software are changing how work gets done. The tools keep getting better. The pace keeps getting faster. It is the right time to learn by doing and to back teams that can ship.

  • Leverage: small teams can do what used to take large organizations.
  • Reach: software scales globally from day one.
  • Speed: new ideas can be tested in days, not months.

What AI is changing

I believe this era favors entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and creative minds.

  • More with less: employees are already 10x more effective with AI. This feels like a transition. Over time, ten great people will do the work of thousands.
  • New paths: a solo founder building a million‑dollar company is not a fantasy. It is possible today and will get more common.
  • Shifting roles: the culture of work will change. Ownership, judgment, and speed will matter more than headcount.

Why Xvariate

Xvariate builds the way I respect: clear goals, simple plans, and software that holds up in production. The team ships, learns, and improves. They choose tools with intent and keep the stack focused.

Investing here is the right first step for me. I get to help, learn, and be close to the work.

How I plan to help

  • Capital with patience: back the roadmap and give the team room to execute.
  • Simple questions: focus on customers, outcomes, and what moves the needle.
  • Discipline: keep the stack clean, reduce waste, and invest where it compounds.

What this means going forward

I will keep learning, backing founders, and building. I want to invest in more tech startups. I may start my own when I find a problem I care about and a team I trust.

If you are building in AI or software and value simple plans, honest work, and long‑term thinking, I would like to talk.
